Vupalu has a lot going for it—great location, a welcoming crowd, and a small but good menu with some interesting options. The coffee was decent, though not the kind that lingers in your memory. Service was on the slower side, but to their credit, they were upfront about wait times for certain dishes, like the side potatoes on the club sandwich which took a while, but at least we knew what to expect since the waiter let us know beforehand.
