We had dinner here with friends and kids, and overall it was a good experience. The restaurant is right by the beach, so the children could play while we enjoyed our meal, which made it very convenient for families. The food was tasty, though I have to say some of the fried dishes were a bit too oily and felt heavy. Everything else we ordered, however, was very good and nicely prepared. The staff were warm and welcoming, speaking excellent English, making small talk, and creating a friendly atmosphere for all the guests. But there were some clients waiting for too long and leaving their tables… It was quite busy and a bit noisy, but that’s expected in such a popular seaside spot and didn’t bother us. We did have to wait around 10 mins for a table, but once seated, the service was very attentive and we felt well taken care of. All in all, a lively place with good food, great service, and a good location by the beach (can’t see the sea though)—ideal for families and...
Read moreBig portions, as it used to be years ago in Greece. Unfortunately, not all the food they serve is tasty nor in the good Greek cuisine tradition. Thus, pork grill is OK, but if you order grilled vegetables or grilled mushrooms (pleutorus in fact, not as they present in menu list) you will be highly disappointed no find the veggies soaked in balsamic vinegar and soy sauce!? And when I say soaked, I really mean it... They cannot be eaten, disgustfull... If you order pikantia, you will be brought some cabbage in vinegar or something and that's it, nothing to do with the picture in the menu. Again. As for the grilled vegetables, you are served with something looking different. So, half of what we ordered left untouched on the table. Maybe we were unluckily, anyway I will never go there again. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from, such as Thallasia. And one more thing: common guys, ruccola? Here? Do not "kill" Greek taste just for...
Read moreI never thought that a simple greek salad can ruin my night. I swear I could have swam in the sea of onions found in that salad. It was a complete insult for me. A whole white onion chopped with a few pieces of cucumber, tomato, olives and the thinnest slice of cheap cow cheese. And imagine it was 9 euros, 9 euros for a piece of white onion! Also it was poorly seasoned, they were savvy on the olive oil. Also service was poor, no napkins, especially water napkins if you eat sea food, no salt, pepper, toothpicks, no complimentary water, bread, small piece of butter or olives (for which I would have gladly pay a symbolical price) If you go to this restaurant just skip the side dishes and go straight for the main dishes like sea food or meat, take the cheap house wine 0.5l for 6 euros and you'll be on a horse. No complains there, the sea bass and octopus were perfect, sadly ruined by that so call onion...
