Very good food and great service
For Athos Tavern is not enough 5 stars to describe the food and the service. I ate two consecutive days at this tavern and I was very happy to be surprised by the very delicious food, and impeccable serve. I was eating the diversified food and my family too: the Grill Octopus, Dorada, Sea Food, Musaka, Fish Soup, Pita Gyros, Green Salads. Also I recommend the white home made wine, is the best one. Mr. Giannis, the waitress was great. He gave attention to the details, impeccable service, with very good knowledge and a positive person. He made my days!

The meatballs were a little pink in the middle, which was not so pleasant because the inside of the restaurant wasn't looking to clean, so it made me think it is not so hygienically. The rice was good, I liked it. Also the Greek salad, I think ( not sure ), was made with sunflower oil, that oil didn't taste like olive oil. The good thing was that they gave us, from the house, fruits after we finished our meals. They brought us bread and water to the table and we paid for it. Which is not common for all...

The Potatoes and all the seafood we tried are fresh out of the supermarket, if not worse. It's like every other stereotypical overpriced Greek restaurant but with way worse food than average.
