Bookovo — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

Disclaimer: The following review is based off of experience of 3 people on one meal during the summer season. No pictures.

Update: Dinner and lunch differ immensely! I have separated it in 2 different reviews so you can read it! Just follow the labels!

Lunch

Food: I have to say, if you want to eat something to do with meat this is a must visit! A good reccomend action is Bookovo Pan. It's basically minced meat in a nice sauce with fresh veggies! I must say this was pretty good for something that was not even 10 whole Euros. Although if you dislike food that is heavily seasoned avoid it as my mother made a remark that whilst it was pretty good, she wouldn't order it again given the seasoning.

Service: 5 stars. I cannot describe how well the service is done! You will usually get approach he'd by the waiter which knows Serbian, English and Greek! Not perfectly, but good enough to take an order! Additionally if you did not order any bread they will not hesitate to give you little tortillas made out of bread! Not only that but if you are unsure you can eat a whole desert after a meal and you don't want to pay for it they will serve you 3 small icecreams made out of vanilla snd covered with chocolate! All this without a charge!

Atmosphere: rather calm surrounding, close to the sea while everything is dressed in black Matt color. There's not a lot to say as it's a pretty small place but there was certainly nothing I could complain about!

Note: while we only had a Bookovo pan I have to say based off of observations, burgers and gyros' were great as well! Burgers seemed rather big as well as gyros' not to mention their wifi reaching 2-3 lines on quiet the radius! It's not a quick wifi but it gets the job done!

Price: 3 Bookovo pans, 1 liter of sparkling water and 1 coke 33.40€!

Dinner

Food: food is, decent, nothing too remarkable but nothing bad either, it's a solid 4 if you are getting something around the price of 5€,us personally we got a stuffed burgermeat in bread. It's juicy, filled with vegetables but meat was rather questionable choice, it has a specific scent which I don't like as much, however overall it's decent! Although I have 2 tips for you, first if you buy a burgermeat, you will get 2 long burgers in a bread or a pie (if course portion is a different story) not your regular American style burger, those are 10€. Also for the love of God do not remove French fries! They are used to contain the beast within! Once removed insides start becoming outsides and outsides start turning into insides. In other words everything that was once in starts leaking fries are used as a replacement for a bun.

Service: Huff what can I say, way worse than during the day it will have to be a strong 3.5 although I'm keeping it a 5 on the review for one reason, this place is CRAZY crowded during the night. I don't believe it would be fair to remove stars for otherwise great service! Though keep this in mind, if you plan to have a dinner here, you will wait quiet a bit for your meal,additiomalky you are lucky if waiters notice you, we had to call for one to order and pay. So don't expect the same experience! Although they are ever so kind, apologetic, and resourceful!

Atmosphere: During the night this is your typical fast food place, loud, fast, and exhausting! It's a solid 3 compared to the otherwise nice experience. If it was a bit better otherwise it would remain a 5 but given that there's nothing special and during the night it is not as good, I have to bump it down to a 4!

What can I say, enjoy and I heavy reccomend going there for a lunch!

As a family we had a great time using their beach and eating at Bookovo. Food is reasonably priced and one the best quick bites around Nei Pori. Kevin was very friendly at the beach club and served us with care and respect. Our kids loved him and played with him. When you sit at their restaurant order from the Greek girl (I forgot her name). She is a little short and dark haired. She is very good at taking orders and she does speak good English. I say this because once I ordered from a guy with short blond hair who messed up my entire order. I didn't complain but it wasn't a great experience for my kids. For drivers there is plenty of parking available even in busiest times in August. One piece of advice for the owner, please take care of your beach materials as they are old and need replacement. This is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. There are better places nearby as a beach club but we choose Bookovo because Kevin's...
