This place looks magnificent! Sea views, lots of green around, peaceful and pleasant. The host was amazing, eager to adapt to our wishes. The food was very tasty and the portions very big. A "must eat" for people who like traditional Greek food and are passing by thorough this little town. The bread we got as a gift at the beginning of the meal was hot!! A year has passed and we came back in the hope everything was still the same and YES, we were right! 🙏 The food still splendidly cooked, nice looking and plentiful! Read moreWe were personally welcomed in a rainy day after touring the nearby castle and given a seat next to the warm, open fire. The owner knew enough English that he could describe the menu items clearly.
The food was served warm with attention to presentation; even the cutlery was attractive. For a table of four we ordered two appetizers, a small salad and a soup to share. With the two large loaves of bread that come with every table, we had more than enough food and could have skipped our entrees.
I highly recommend the pork in red wine sauce. The rice pilaf that came with the lamb shank was exceptional. We were brought a plate of cakes to enjoy after our meal.
