Gallaria — Restaurant in Dion - Olympos Municipality

Hi everyone, on 12/07/2024 I visit with my family this amazing place, but I have a very bad experience, I was there 7 people and my Rottwailer Max, who is for us part of family, and is coming with us in every single holiday, I want to mention, my Dog is fully trained, is champion, and was wearing a muzzle because in Greece this is the rules, before to go there, we check online, and on there website was specifically pets allowed, when we arrived there, I ask couple employers if I’m allowed with the dog there, they don’t know, but they also said next to the beach is an wild beach where I can go with my dog without having any trouble with nobody, to access that beach I have to cross the restaurant terrace and this is what I do, my wife pay for everything there to can stay at the beach with our family, me I go with Max on the wild beach, after a while my wife come after me to enjoy together with Max and have some nice pictures, I think after 45 minutes come at us 3 men’s from restaurant on the wild beach where we was and they tell us we have to go from there because the dog is dangerous, I go with Max out from water, I put him the muzzle and I tell him to laid down and to wait me there, I walked myself to them to can have a discussion, but they tell me I have to go from here, even my dog was laid down without to do anything bag even to snoring at them, they speak bad about my dog and tell me to leave, I said to them I ask, I go on the wild beach, my dog is trained is listening everything what I said is champion and I can prove I have all the documents in my car, but all this for nothing, my wife spent around €100 for 45 minutes on that beach, because in the end we have to leave, is ridiculous, and I want to mention on that beach no one the wild one , was there more dogs, but there owners was Greek citizens, but for them was another rules, then be careful when you all go there with your pets, because you are not welcome, if you are not Greek citizen with your pet like they said on the website, just false information and ridiculous people around there from employers to the boss, I hope my message gone help people with pets to no go there and have the same bad experience, my wife was pregnant also and...

Worst Greek beach bar experience ever. Arrogant staff lying about the prices. The view is undoubtedly beautiful and there is free parking for all guests but these are the only advantages of the place. An extremely rude hostess will meet you and lie about the prices while there are signs with the price list of the sunbeds everywhere. First, she told us that there are no free sunbeds at the moment and we have to wait for an unspecified amount of time. We were okay to wait a bit and decided to take a look around. Actually, there were six free sunbeds on the so called “private deck”, but the arrogant lady didn’t even suggest them to us. When we politely ask about them, her attitude became even worse and she said that they cost 50 euro. We could have agreed with the price to use them, but with such an attitude, we would not return ever again. Moreover, we asked about the “private beach” which was mentioned as on the price list and the lady rudely pointed the side normal sunbeds to us. So it turned out that the beautiful separated sunbeds on the rock were called “private deck” and cost 50 euro. She even explained, with rude manner of course, that we have to order drinks and food extra after we pay 50 euro just for the sunbeds. We simply didn’t understand why is this “private deck” not mentioned in the price list at all. How can the side part of the normal beach be called “private beach” and cost more? We visited it on a weekday at about 2pm and come a long way specially to visit this overrated place, but the lady ruined our good mood. We saw other disappointed people as well. Additionally, we have visited many beach bars in different parts of Greece, where the staff was super friendly and chill and we don’t consider a fruit salad and 2 bottles of water for a such special compliment, that costs 50 euro. Style, comfort and crystal-clear waters, our favorite spot in Panteleimonas

Gallaria in Panteleimonas (close to Platamonas) is for us one of the most beautiful seaside spots, especially in the VIP area, which we visit regularly. Each set (consisting of two sunbeds, an umbrella and a pouf) is very comfortable and even comes with its own fridge. Additional chairs can also be added if needed. The price of the set includes a bottle of water and a fresh fruit plate, a wonderful service! Another big plus is the private parking available for VIP guests, which makes the stay even more relaxed. The atmosphere is breathtaking, not least because of the stylishly renovated old train station that gives this place its unique character. The water is especially clear here as it’s a pebble beach, perfect for swimming and cooling off.

The other sunbeds are also very popular as they are family- and pet-friendly, making them a great option for visitors with children and dogs.

On top of that, regular events are hosted here, always well attended and full of great vibes.

Gallaria combines style, comfort, crystal-clear water and a truly unique atmosphere.

For us, the perfect place to spend an unforgettable day by the sea in Panteleimonas.
