At first glance, the restaurant might not look that promising as it's hidden in between shops, missing the charming view of the marina, but it's an absolutely lovely family restaurant with delicious authentic greek cusine. Definitely worth visiting. They use fresh, great quality products. Everything we ordered was perfect. Prices were pretty good too. The first time we tried to sit, the waitress seemed extremely busy. So we came back the next day. Best decision, I would say. 😃 As mentioned in other reviews, she gave us a heads-up that we would need to wait a little bit for our food to be served. By far the best restaurant in town! First time we tried it out we were impressed with the quality of the ingredients, the amazing attentive service and the amazing flavors.. We decided to return for a second round and our expectations were exceeded. All the dishes we tried were excellent. Fresh, tasty and cooked in a simple yet elegant way. The chef clearly knows how to bring out the flavors of each dish, and is a master of grilling. The stuffed octopus, which is a challenging dish was cooked to perfection: tender, juicy and charred enough to give a smoky aroma. The grilled vegetables amazing as well. We love eating at To Diapori, the chef is passionate about every dish served. Fish and seafood cooked very well, and mezes are delicious. We had calamari, octopus, mussels, eggplant and chips. Chips are exceptional as they are fried fresh to order. Eggplant was grilled perfectly with a the tomatos and feta cheese on top. Octopus on grill was so soft and perfectly balanced we ordered this dish every time we went. Also fried calamari were crispy on the outside and tender in the inside.
