We came to the restaurant and one of the staff told us we will have to wait around 45 min or more for the food because the kitchen is busy (even if the restaurant was more than half empty). We said it was ok but we wanted to make sure they had moussaka and they said they had. After more then 30 min one guy came to take the order and of course they didn’t have moussaka. He advised us to order another greek traditional plate and he came after 20 min to tell us even that one was finished. Of course we decided to leave and we had to pay for a wine and a water that we didn’t even drink. They were very rude, they said we have to pay the drinks and take them with us even if we didn’t open them. Maybe the food is good, i don’t know. I didn’t have the ‘pleasure’ to try it but i can assure all the restaurants around were full except this one. It might be the rudeness, who knows. Bad experience, i will not advise...
Read moreIt seems that all that matters is good food and friendly service. I entered this restaurant after a Greek employee heard us speaking Romanian. Of course we got into the conversation and they started joking about his mother-in-law who is Romanian. Of course, all this was discussed in Romanian, which impressed me immediately. The food ordered was excellent and reasonably priced (5 people - 110 eur). After finishing the meal, from the house they gave us a perfect panna cotta and then a dollop of mastika. Anyway, in general, the service was super ok, the food as well, and the waiters 10+. I...
Read moreCalled in today as part of a cruise to the blue lagoon. There were four of us and we ordered our food - waited an hour / no sign of food and many locals who came in after us were served. Anyway I kept on enquiring with the waiter as to when our food would be ready - with our boat going in ten minutes our food arrived -and I asked for the bill - the food was poor and i couldn’t eat my spaghetti it was all a rush and we ended up rushing our food which wasn’t cooked properly and leaving most of it behind to catch our boat. No sign of the bill - I had to go up to the cashier who wanted to charge me €85 - I gave him €50 which in hindsight was too much . So in summary if you are on a Corfu cruise to blue lagoon and you stop off in this village go elsewhere....
