Absolutely awesome atmosphere in the bustling streets of Syvota! I had the Beef Steak for 19 Euros and the Caesar Salad for 10.50 Euros. Not only was this delicious but really cheap as well. For those still scoffing at the prices, although most menu items don't have a description, they come with a little bit of everything. The steak was absolutely massive(like half a kilogram massive)+ baked vegetables and a balsamic dressing on them. It also came with french fries and a dip I am guessing was cheese. I asked for it to be medium-well and got exactly what I asked for, perfectly succulent. My friends also said they really enjoyed everything. The staff was really friendly and professional, with all of them speaking pretty good English. At the end they brought us each a shot, 2 limoncellos and 2 jagers(I am guessing) free or charge. We even left a nice tip for them. If you're ever in Syvota I would really recommend for you to...
Read moreAll appetizers or salads were mediocre, being extremely kind. The food has nothing to do with local cuisine, and is super expensive. I know restaurant owners or chefs are gurus and you cannot "correct" them, but please when you add something to your menu, try that in different (even competitor's) restaurants before defining how to cook it. No human, at least the experts, is doing: Sofrito with rice, Buyurdi with eggplants and olives, "Potatoes in the oven with feta sauce" (as mentioned in your catalog), and brings BOILED potatoes swimming in wipe cream! Seriously, at least follow the recipe you put in your OWN menu. Overall, a touristic place with no value for money; not recommended. A few meters towards sea, there's a fast food store in the corner with 1/3 of prices and probably...
Read moreThe Greek salad was with a brop of olive oil and small portion, the fried feta was as well very small piece in a huge plate.. The pork steak was tasty but all the rest in the plate was only to trick your eye.. 5 fries a spoon of rice and some veggies which needed more grill. The giouvetsi was also tasty but with a very few pieces of beef. Being Greek I know how should portion should be in a taverna and there for sure they just want your money and not to make you come back. The refreshments costed 3,5 euros and a 1l of water 2,5.We will never recomend the place to our friends and I wouldn't suggest it for tourists either.. Find an other place less fancy but with original Greek food in reasonable prices to fill your stomach not...
