It was our first stay at this hotel. We hadn't actually planned on staying there at all. What happened was that the hotel we usually stay at was fully booked on the night we wanted to come to Sivota and, after a bit of Googling, I found the Oriana and liked what I saw and read.||||We were given a very warm welcome and shown to our room. We were immediately struck by its spaciousness and glowing cleanliness and the very nice touch of using folded towels to make a heart shape on the bed. We were shown how everything worked and given a mosquito tablet and machine for after dark, and another couple of pillows at our request.||||The room had a small, basically-equipped kitchen-dining area and an immaculate bathroom with shower stall and nicely-presented complimentary toiletries. It had attractive lighting arrangements and the bed was large and comfortable. ||||The view from the balcony, while not remarkable, was pleasant with a very beautiful, tall arocaria tree right next to the balcony wall, some other houses opposite and green hills behind, and all lit up on this occasion by a clear full moon.||||The hotel is situated in the heart of this small resort, a stone's throw from the sea and the harbour area with lovely landscape stretching out into the distance behind. It is a great place to be to enjoy a multi-coloured sunset. Additionally, it has a range of restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as supermarkets and souvenir shops, on its doorstep and there are many delightful bays and beaches to explore just up the road.||||The only reservation I have about what I observed is that it might be noisy in the high season. We did hear some quite loud music in the evening and this was when the hotel and the resort generally were nowhere near full. The hotel balconies have no walls or partitions between them, so there would not be much peace and privacy in the high season. While this might not bother some people, it would certainly put us off. However, the room was not expensive and our impression of the place overall was positive and we would definitely think about going back there again.||||||Sent...
Read moreOur multinational group of friends from Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Canada chose an incredible place in Greece, Sivota, and the Oriana Hotel as our meeting point for a shared vacation. As someone involved in the hotel business, I always have a third, all-seeing eye. And this special eye saw a lot to love about this hotel during our stay. We booked two rooms, one for two people and one for three. The rooms turned out to be quite spacious, decorated in pleasant olive-green colors, with fresh renovations and everything we needed. We were impressed by the incredible cleanliness everywhere: in the rooms, the lobby, and the garden near the hotel! The garden is a heavenly and cozy corner of the hotel. Housekeeping was daily, and towels were changed three times over seven days. The hotel owners were very hospitable! The owner was very attentive to guests and offered recommendations for tourist companies that organize day trips by bus and to the island of Paxos. The hotel is located near the beaches, close to boat rentals (which you can rent yourself), a car rental company, excellent restaurants, and shops. If you don't want to walk up and down hills several times a day (as many hotels and apartments are located on hills), then this hotel is definitely the right choice. We were also able to use the hotel's parking lot for our rented car. We highly recommend visiting the Orange restaurant for breakfast, with which the hotel collaborates. Guests of the hotel also get a 20% discount. The food presentation at breakfast is wonderful, and the dishes are quite large and delicious! To the owners of the hotel—our colleagues, as we now call you—we are so happy to have had the opportunity to feel like desired guests. Thank you for your hospitality, warmth, and service! Friends, we recommend this 100%! This hotel is the perfect place for...
Read moreLovely spacious, modern and spotless accommodation in a little street just off central square. In an ideal location, very close to port with lots of restaurants and shops. Panos and his mum are friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Panos helped me with lots of queries before we even got there, always answering my emails promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful accommodation and would definitely stay there again. ||Sivota area is beautiful. We love holidaying in Greece and it has to be up there as one of my favourite places. Loads of beaches around and about, our favourite in the end was Dei beach, a narrow stoney beach so you need your beach shoes, but fabulous outlook, great swimming and snorkelling and even some rocks to dive off. Also the most wonderful taverns sat under a forest of...
