I recently had the pleasure of dining at Castelio in Syvota! The food offered here is definitely deserving of a solid 4-star ranking. The flavors were well-balanced.

However, what truly set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service, spearheaded by a remarkable individual named George ( Γιώργος ). His kindness and politeness were truly remarkable, earning the service a perfect 5-star rating.

Towards the end of our meal, George surprised us with a delightful homemade sweet, lovingly prepared by his own mother. This personal touch truly exemplified the dedication and care that Castelio puts into providing a top-notch experience for its patrons.

They did us a light lunch - we didn’t eat it all - and an evening meal and we enjoyed all dishes. Freshly cooked and tasty. Really like the tzatziki, so creamy. Gigantes were probably the tastiest dish we had but more to try. Reasonable prices too. 4 dishes, 2 bottles of retsina and water €41. Though we didn’t have a main. Dessert was offered on the house. We had a “small one” shared between two and didn’t finish it loukamades ???? Donuts (fresh from the fryer) drizzled in chocolate sauce. Friendly service.

We just had to visit. We were here 10years ago and always said we would go back...well..it hasn't changed. As we entered the restaurant we were greeted by a young man who easily found a table for 4 of us.. My husband noticed that the owner, Toula, was sitting at "her" table, so he managed to find a picture he took on his phone and went over to show her..it was then that she recognised us...
