Bistro Greek Food — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

Generally a nice place, but we had a few issues:

We were brought a salad that we didnt order. It was taken back all fine, but there was some confusion where that came from.

The real issue was we tried to order fried anchovies but we werent sure, if they were gonna be fried so we pointed at a picture and asked is this it thinking that we pointed at the pic of them and the text anchovies. The waiter nodded and then we were brought the fish for two people! As you can imagine, this was more than 3x the price and amount that we imagined and we said, we didnt order that but he just pointed at the picture and then at the fish, looking all annoyed. I understand that it could have been a misunderstanding but it was overall not a nice experience for us.

The music was very loud which might have added to the misunderstanding. It is nice, if you sit far away, otherwise it is really blasting and you cannot properly talk at the table.

Also the friend calamari were merely ok.

The prices are better than in other places, but our experience overall...

We went here many times on our holiday in Pefkohori. We tried most of the restaurants in the city, but kept coming back because they were the sweetest people, offered great service and really, without comparison, had the Best Greek Salad in Pefkohori (generous with their feta!). It is cheaper than many of the seafront restaurants, but so much better. It’s clear that they select and get the freshest, ripe and tastiest ingredients. Just something simple as the tomatoes they use in their Greek Salad are so good. And don’t miss their bread.. it’s soft, fresh, grilled, topped with olive oil and oregano and much better than the often stale versions you get other places. I recently visited Bistro Greek Food and unfortunately, I can't recommend it. While the atmosphere seemed nice at first, the overall experience was quite disappointing. This restaurant menu doesn't have many options. The service was also a major letdown. The staff seemed uninterested and not very friendly. The most frustrating part was that as soon as I finished my last bite, the waiter brought the bill over. I had been hoping to relax for a bit and maybe have another beer, but I felt rushed and unwelcome, as if they wanted me to leave immediately.
