Fish Tavern Tsaparis — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

Best of the best in Pefkochori! You will see people waiting outside the restaurant for a table to become free so they can take the place. This is a very desired place to dine in, and there is a reason why.

The food does not get better than the one here, even in an already very competitive and high-level market of restaurants in the city.

We were so happy with the experience here, we had to repeat the place, instead of giving a chance to another restaurant from the many of choice.

Every order from the menu was a hit after a hit. Mousaka is peak level, tzatziki was .. well .. tzatziki, the other cheese salads were great, all the seafood seems to have been really appreciated, fried zucchini were great, and even the grilled bread with garlic was amazing (although that has to be getting extra points just because of all other positives of the place, cause its just bread with garlic).

At the end of every meal there, you are offered a dessert on the house, which felt like a huge gesture the first time we went as it was unexpected. This only shows how much care the owners and waiters seem to be putting into the service they are offering.

I really hope this restaurant finds a way to grow a little bit in size, as it visibly cannot handle all the people trying to dine there. I hope and I wish it to the owners!

We were recommended Fish Tavern Tsaparis by the staff at Flegra Palace Hotel, and we’re so glad we followed their suggestion. When we first arrived, we expected just an ordinary place — nothing special. But we were pleasantly surprised!

We ordered a variety of seafood: clams, shrimp, squid — and everything was absolutely perfect. The flavors were fresh and delicious, clearly prepared with care and experience.

The staff and the chef were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we even managed to have a little conversation with them, which added a personal touch to the whole experience.

We enjoyed it so much that we came back again the next day, right before our flight. Both times, they served us a complimentary dessert, which was a lovely gesture.

In the evening when we went to the restaurant we were satisfied with the food, not extraordinary but good. Instead, two days later when we returned to the place and asked the owner if he had or had a meal available, he had an attitude that shocked us. Although on the first day he seemed very kind and available when he saw the tables full, he actually turned his back on us and replied in total contempt that "no", actually catching us with disgust. I didn't understand the attitude, but both I and my friends were deeply puzzled and upset. I think that such behavior should be taxed in the future by all potential customers in the sense that the place should be avoided and maybe the owner will reevaluate his position...
