I visited the Fregio today and had a disappointing encounter. I decided to get an Eskimo ice cream from the fridge, but the woman behind the counter rudely told me to close the fridge.
My concern is not just about her rudeness but also about her remark that 'if it's allowed in your country, it's not allowed here,' which I consider a display of racism.
Moreover, if customers aren't allowed to access the fridge, it shouldn't be placed in an area accessible to them. I've been living in Thessaloniki for over a year and have always bought Eskimo ice creams in pastry shops, taken them to the cashier, and paid without any issues.
