Klēmatariá — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

I have no idea how this place got such high ratings — it's absolutely baffling. The glasses come filthy, covered in stains, and nearly every table ends up sending them back for replacements. We ordered calamari and explicitly asked for the veins to be cleaned. They brought it out bloody and full of veins as if we had said nothing. Disgusting.

The crispy zucchini? Awful. The shrimp pasta? Awful. The local wine? Undrinkable. The fried feta? Just terrible. Quite frankly, everything was terrible.

When we tried to send the calamari back, they refused to take it. We ended up paying for food we didn’t even touch. The server barely spoke any English, communication was a struggle, and nobody seemed to care. Completely inattentive staff.

When we asked for the bill, they didn’t bring an itemized receipt, so we had no idea what we were being charged for. We left the place hungry and frustrated.

Absolutely not recommended. Just painting the walls white and putting out blue tables doesn’t give you a “Greek vibe.” Try serving food that’s actually...

Very disappointing experience. None of the dishes we ordered met our expectations. The food was honestly terrible. We specifically asked for the calamari to be cooked properly and not bloody, but it was served exactly the opposite. When we said we didn’t want it, the staff insisted we keep it and tried to leave it on our table. The fried feta was bad, and even the Greek salad — something that should be simple and fresh — was bland and tasteless. On top of that, the staff were visibly annoyed whenever we made a request, responding with attitude and unfriendly expressions. We left feeling extremely unhappy. EDIT: Im lowering the grade to 1 star, because I noticed they charged us for two breads as well when we only ordered 1.

Food and service was good/alright until we got the bill where a bottle of water for 2.5€ was added which we didnt ask for, and also did not open. When pointing this out the staff got rude and annoyed about it. Wont be coming back because of this.

Otherwise very cozy restaurant. But thats not how one should treat customers just because they didnt succeed to get away with overpriced water(that was still unopened) added...
