Avantgarden — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

A hidden oasis, definitely not one to judge from the road. Whilst the exterior is clean and fresh, you walk through the gates to this beautiful green garden. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is exceptional, the prices are reasonable. This is a family run establishment, and it shows. Looks can be deceiving. Don't let the outside of this restaurant deter you from going. This is absolutely a hidden gem with a beautiful garden in the backyard. The service was excellent; we did go at a later time, around 4 pm. The variety of food that we chose was very good. My only suggestion would be to decide on something different than the chicken. We had the zucchini balls and they were good, more like fritters, but the seafood orzo tasted like cinnamon? Just really not to my taste.
