Restaurant Ocean's — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

On the recommendation of our host in Lefkada, we came to this restaurant. The first thing that caught my attention was the cozy atmosphere. The terrace is full of plants, combined with white wood – very pleasant. After we sat down, the waiter came to take our order, smiling and friendly. We ordered a seafood salad (Ocean), seabass carpaccio, grilled calamari with feta and tomatoes, and a tuna steak (that day they had a freshly caught tuna on the fresh fish section). For drinks, we had sparkling water.

Right from the start, we were served complimentary bruschetta with a mix of tomatoes and marinated sardines – quite tasty. Then came the seafood salad and the carpaccio. The salad was very delicious: fresh leaves, amazing mustard dressing, and the seafood had real flavor, though a bit too little of it. 5/5. The seabass carpaccio was 50/50 – not for everyone’s taste. For me, the sauce was too sour (lemon juice, dill, and vinegar). I wouldn’t order it again. 3/5. The tuna steak came with sautéed vegetables, same as the calamari with feta. The tuna steak was tender, flavorful, and fresh. Very tasty – highly recommended. 5/5. As for the calamari with feta and tomatoes, I was disappointed because I only felt the tomato sauce flavor, not the feta or the calamari, even though they should have been the main flavors. The convenience is that it’s served in small, bite-sized pieces.

At the end, we were also served complimentary dessert – a biscuit cake, tasty. The total check was €75. For such an experience – atmosphere, service, and food – it’s definitely worth it. We’ll come...

This is where we had the best fresh fish on the island. We served a grilled seabass for two, which we chose from the selection of fresh fish they had exposed. They also serve fresh seabream (dorada) and red snapper. The seabass was already cut in half on the plate, and they removed its spine and most of its bones. We only found a few. I really appreciated this because I love fish but I hate picking the bones when I eat it.

Apart from this, we also served the avocado salad, which was very delicious. And also the tuna fish carpaccio, which was good... though I did eat better :)

Before serving what we ordered, they brought us complementary bruschettas (2 with tomatoes and 2 with anchovies). Also, at the end they brought us complementary biscuits salami, which was actually really good.

We also had a fresh orange juice, which was served cold and without ice cubes, and a glass of the house's rose wine, which was a dry and strong wine but interesting in taste.

Ocean Restaurant in Vasiliki Bay, Lefkada, is outstanding.

This is my second time visiting Lefkada and Vasiliki Bay, and while I’ve tried seafood in other places, Ocean truly stands out. I’ve already come back several times on this trip because everything here feels special.

Theodoro brings a warm and welcoming spirit, Yanis is attentive and always recommends the perfect wine pairing, and Spiros adds his own charm—friendly, thoughtful, and a passionate windsurfer too.

The food is excellent: the octopus is tender and full of flavor, the red snapper is beautifully fresh, and the tuna is equally delicious. To finish, they often surprise you with a complimentary dessert, which is a lovely touch.
