Κρήνη Cafe Metsovo — Restaurant in Metsovo Municipality

Cosy place, great service! Went for a nightcap drink, also seems to be the popular place for the Metsovan youth to hang out at night. However ended up disappointed with our final tap, since the wine card presented to us stated 20€ for a bottle of local Averoff winery Chardonnay and our bill stated 29€. Didn’t change after I pointed out that it’s written differently in the wine card, instead I got the explanation that they didn’t change the prices for the summer season. Definitely not the way you handle things, at least you apologize and warn your guests before ordering (not to go in all the legal stuff like what is written in the card must be charged by EU law)! Also not to mention the same wine being sold all around in tavernas for 12€. All in all the whole situation quite disappointing in the end!

Thank you for the apology, do sort that management problem, you seem to be the cool place to hang out! Unfortunately we had already left Metsovo, so next time we’re around we’ll be coming for that token...

Excellent service, friendly stuff, delicious chocolate drinks, best coffees, very good selection of local wines (served with meze)! However smoking is allowed indoors and sometimes there's too much smoke creating a toxic environment. Not good...
