Hotel Bitouni — Hotel in Metsovo Municipality

We've just returned from an excellent week at Hotel Bitouni. This is a family run hotel, which shows in the friendliness of those who work there and their commitment to making your stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was clean and spacious (even with a cot in it), there was a good variety of options at breakfast and the coffee was the best we had in Metsovo (we only tried Greek coffee and Espresso). It was such a friendly place to stay, not big or noisy. There is pleasant communal area for eating and sitting. There are excellent views over the mountains and if your room doesn't have a mountain view, you can sit on the communal balcony and enjoy the view there instead. ||||There's a car park and the owner is very happy to help you in and out of it, as Metsovo is not the easiest place to drive in!||||I highly recommend it. We happened upon the underground parking the day before when we got lost trying to find a different town. Had it not been for that, I don't know how easy or difficult it would've been otherwise. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a nice view of the mountains from our room. There was no air conditioning in our room (I don't know if any other rooms have AC) but it wasn't a problem. It's quite cool up there in the mountains, even in July. And when we went out in the evening, we actually needed to take something to keep warm. The wifi worked well and we had a variety of items from which to choose at breakfast.||||If you want a cocktail, walk towards the square and look for Cafe Bar on the right hand side just before you get to the cobble stone bridge. A very traditionally styled hotel that offers underground parking, a lift to get to the floor your room is at, and all basic facilities the traveler needs.|| ||There's heaters for the winter period but no air conditioning for summer which is not a problem as, Metsovo is always cool even in the middle of a hot summer.||||The drive way to the parking is quite steep and care should be taken when driving in or out from it.
