Akrogialia — Restaurant in Municipality of Aegina

This is a great Beach and the prices here are reasonable. Free beach chairs as long as you order food and drinks. The problem is they reserve all the chairs for the locals and you can't sit at the front no matter how early you arrive. Our first day we arrived at 9:30am and all the chairs at the water had towels over them. I asked the waiter and he told me the people were having breakfast behind me on the patio. There were people sitting there reading\eating and I believed him. The next morning we arrived when they opened at 8am (we were jetlagged and up early anyways) towels were across all the front chairs again and NOBODY was having breakfast yet. We sat behind the front row and slowly saw locals arrive and get the chairs in the front but not use the towels that were placed on them. Some of the chairs were empty until 11:30. We never went back, it's a shame because we had gone to this Beach for 4 years on our annual Greece vacation... Never again. Many other Greeks were frustrated by this as well as there were these vacant chairs...

I like it. Awesome view, awesome sea, it's my favourite beach in Aegina Island. It also have very comfortable seats, really good menu and good service. The prices are kind of ok, but it's hard to park your car. Although, the road is pretty accessible. P. S. Be aware of the Cone Snails here. Be aware of the fishes here, some of them bite, especially on your wounds. It's not like they want to eat you, just the blood makes them bite. I think they are a bit hungry xD. Make sure to have all of your wounds covered, or... It'll hurt... Be aware of the Weevers. They have plenty. They are venomous. Be aware of the Sea Currents. Don't swim too deep cause the Sea Currents are too strong and can drug you further and further from the coast. I don't tell you not to come, instead I really suggest you this place, just be careful. If you are careful enough but, NOT scared you'll have one of the best moments in the beach! Extra: This place is safe from COVID-19. Δεν έχω λόγια για να περιγράψω την εμπειρία μου για το συγκεκριμένο κατάστημα εστίασης!!! Το προσωπικό ΠΑΝΤΑ με χαμόγελο,πρόθυμοι να σε εξυπηρετήσουν για το οτιδήποτε από καρέκλα μέχρι κάποια ιδιαιτερότητα στο φαγητό! Παρόλο ότι το μαγαζί μπορεί να είναι γεμάτο από κόσμο να μην βρίσκεις να κάτσεις επικρατεί μια ηρεμία που αυτό το κάνει ακόμα πιο Ιδιαίτερο και Μοναδικό Τα κορίτσια που απαρτίζουν την κουζίνα όσες φορές και να περάσεις να πας στις (πεντακάθαρες) τουαλέτες θα σε χαιρετήσουν με χαμόγελο και θα ενδιαφερθούν αν είσαι εντάξει!! Η ποικιλία των φαγητών και η ποιότητα το κάνει ακόμα πιο μοναδικό και αυτο είναι που ακόμα του δίνει ένα βαθμό παραπάνω γιατί όσες φορές και να φας κάτι συγκεκριμένο θα είναι πάντα το ίδιο απολαυστικό και τόσο γευστικό... Φέτος δε έχει προσθέσει κάτι ωραία πιάτα που απλά νιώθω σαν τον σκύλο μου όταν βλέπει μια λιχουδια να του τρέχουν τα σάλια!!! Και για ποτό το βράδυ... Αχ πόσο ωραίο!! Να ακούς το κύμα...να βλέπεις τα σκάφη από μακριά στη Μονή.... Όλα αυτά δίπλα στο κύμα!! Όσοι φίλοι έρχονται να τους φιλοξενήσουμε εννοείται ότι το πρώτο που κάνουμε είναι να πάμε στο εκεί!!!!
