Me and my boyfriend was cycling along the coastline when we stumbled across this beach. It's beautiful and great for families with kids considering the water's really shallow (about knee-height). You'll have to go pretty far in order to reach the deep parts of the sea. There are sunbeds on the other side of the beach if you want to chill there!
There are a few rocks in the water, but I'd say it's pretty safe to walk on considering they're not sharp or big enough for you to slip. And there are rocks for only a couple of metres before you walk on very fine sand.
I would say it's a pretty clean beach. Haven't noticed much litter, it's just a couple of twigs here and there.
A bit of a downside is that there aren't any restaurants or bars right beside the beach that I've noticed. You'll have to walk a bit (not too far though).
Overall I'd say this beach is wonderful for families and also small groups!
We went here during the start of April, so there weren't a lot of people, which is nice if you want to get away...
Read moreThis is the first time I've given a negative rating to a place in Greece! The rating for the beach is entirely positive, a shallow and clean beach with warm water, suitable for children. My negative rating is due to a blonde lady, for whom it was enough to pay 18 euros for the umbrellas and sunbeds, but when we decided to go for lunch she explained to us that she couldn't keep them for us because she was bringing people back and August is the height of the season. You can't leave for lunch and leave your towels and come back after you've had lunch.... I didn't believe such idiocy could exist in Greece, and I've been to so many places in it... The beach is nice, the staff managing the sunbeds next to the lifeguard post is beyond criticism. You will not receive any receipt for paying for the sunbeds...
Read moreThe beach is small but nice, shallow, ideal for kids. Unfortunately only one shower on the parking that we weren't allowed to use by the two blondies who take the money for the sunbeds (15 euros per set). I think it is because we didn't use the sunbeds and didn't pay BUT we go to take drinks and food from the cafe every day. We don't use the sunbeds because one of our kids is autistic and doesn't like to stay on such public places. We go early before everyone and even the cafe starts working after our arrival. And the most unpleasant was when they started giggling when my husband asked to let the water run because we wanted to wash the kids after leaving. Come on, it's 2025, how much more do we have to pay...
