If you want a 5-star meal at sunset, with a 5-star view, or just a 5-star meal:) definitely go to Taverna Stratigos, 500 m from Marathona Beach B. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty. We wanted a table in a certain area, they moved our table. Other customers also came, they also wanted tables in the same area, they moved them for them too, without any problem. Cheerful, nice people, fast service, and the dishes,really special. We ate sardines marinated with garlic - exceptional, fried feta cheese with honey and pistachios - very good and a rather rare combination, and Lavrac = sea bass. We went for a nice dinner, ordered a medium done veal steak and a beef burger well done.

At first try we got a extra well done steak and a beef patty. After the complaint we got (a well done) steak and (another) medium done patty. The explanation for the “patty” was that a burger is a “fast food” thing. With the first round the cutlery was taken away and it took 11 minutes to get another fork after the food was brought to the table.
