Restaurant - Taverna Ostria — Restaurant in Municipality of Aegina

Fresh Greek food with nice prices, next to the sea. But I believe they bet on the location and the place has not been renovated since the 80s...

Update - After several years that I have been eating here (food and prices are descent overall but that's it) as it is quite close to my house on Aegina, unfortunately year by year it is becoming worst. Service is unacceptable slow even on non busy days and they always fail to reckognise old customers (not speaking just for myself). Latest example, someone from our group ordered a pork fillet which was actually recommended by the waiter. Now if the fillet you know is ~80% fat please let me know so I can update my comment. To make things worst, when we mentioned it to the waiter (it was impossible to eat) he blamed the butcher... And at least we were expecting they would not charge for it, as we did not ate it, but they fully did and did not even consider offering something in return. That was our final visit there, sad as it is conveniently located but behaviour and service are...

Food great and location/atmosphere perfect. On holiday here, 3 evenings eating here... 1st, excellent all round. 2nd, service not so good. 3rd, service poor... We alternated with other restaurants during our stay, so we didn't just eat here..... Such a shame.... food and atmosphere great.... We would definitely eat here again, (next time...

Κάποτε ήταν αγαπημένο μέρος. Η συμπεριφορά του ιδιοκτήτη όμως ειναι άκρως αντί επαγγελματική. Φέτος το Πασχα, είχαμε κλείσει τραπέζι για 7 ατομα για την Κυριακή του Πασχα, 2 εβδομάδες πριν, είχαμε μάλιστα κάνει κράτηση και συγκεκριμένες μερίδες για το αρνί. Όταν φτάσαμε, με έκπληξη διαπιστώσαμε οτι δεν υπήρχε άδειο τραπέζι. Στην ερώτηση που κάναμε στον ιδιοκτήτη μας απάντησε με αφοπλιστική ειλικρίνεια, ε αφού ήρθαν άλλοι, τι να κάνω, να τους διωξω; Οταν του είπαμε οτι ήρθαμε από την άλλη άκρη της Αίγινας για την ΚΡΑΤΗΣΗ ΜΑΣ και δεν μπορουμε να τρεχουμε δεξια αριστερα Κυριακη του Πασχα εφοσον εχουμε κανει κρατηση στο μαγαζι του 2 εβδομαδες πριν ακριβως για αυτο το λογο, για να μην ψαχνομαστε, μας είπε ε τι να κάνουμε τωρα;;;; αφου ηρθαν αλλοι κι εκατσαν, τι να κανω, να τους διωξω; Αισχρή αντιμετώπιση. Το φαι καλό, αλλα εμείς από τοτε βάλαμε ενα τεράστιο X. Τέτοιες συμπεριφορές δεν πρέπει να ενισχύονται. Υπάρχουν και αλλού ωραίες ταβέρνες που σέβονται τον πελάτη. Δεν ζήτησε καν...
