Gargadoros Tavern — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

This place was just beyond amazing that it pains me to share coz i don'twant tourist flocking in there. It was just referred to us by a local we asked in the town. It's about 10 to 15 mins walk from the town but it was worth it. The view from the restaurant was spectacular. You can swim at the beach while waiting for your food. The staff were friendly and the waiter can speak English so it's not going to be difficult for the tourist. Oh my what can I say about the food it is just simply divine, you can taste it's freshness, we ordered fried anchovies, seafood pasta linguine and sardines on toast. When we asked for our bill we were given freshly cut fruits, we thought it's to soften the burden of the bill but we didn't pay that much for 4 person .Already planning to...

In Germany you usually had to pay loads of Money to go to a Restaurant with that Quality: Everything is perfect: The Fish, Service, Drinks and all the Things around it. We decided to go there the next day again and it was still fantastic. I had Gyros this time and it was the best Gyros I ever had. We wish we had a Restaurant like this in Nuremberg...

Fantastic restaurant, incredible staff that are friendly, helpful and give you great recommendations. We’ve come back many times during our stay and can’t wait to come back! Our absolute favorites where the lamb shank, chicken salad and the shrimp tempura. Not to mention the tzatziki and Retsina! (And the atmosphere, the view… the list goes on..!)
