Overall, a good experience from this restaurant, right next to the beach, so the rating is hard.

Ordered basic things: the gyros, Greek salad and tzatziki.

Gyros was plain, sliced potato that had been fried at the bottom, with a good amount of gyros meat, sliced tomato on the side with a small amount of tzatziki as a dip. (Simple but very tasty; liked the meat, but some pieces were hard.) I would rate this dish alone 8/10.

With the tzatziki you get untoasted bread (somewhat stale), which is a shame; most restaurants do this but we were at one at the beachfront that toasted the bread, which makes the whole dish more complete.

With the greek salad, you are essentially eating ingredients with olive oil. Tomato in Greece tastes amazing, so hard to rate. You get a block of feta on top that you can mash yourself.

One thing that was a shame is that the waiter didn't understand what we said; we spoke english. We didn't want the feta on the side, since it was on top of the Greek salad like she explained, but we got the feta appetiser also without us wanting it after...

We had dinner at Sirtaki one night during our stay and it was easily the most pleasant dining out experience of our trip to Paleros.

The service from the friendly and charismatic waiter, George, was second to none. We were truly made to feel welcome, not just at Sirtaki, but in Paleros itself. George and his family run the restaurant together and it was clear that they are well known in the town by tourists and locals alike for their friendly and welcoming service.

We had a starter each, fried courgette and feta wrapped in filo pastry, both delicious and reasonable.

For the mains, red snapper was cooked perfectly and deliciously seasoned (most fish mains are priced by the kilo though so bear this in mind when ordering). The lamb chops were unfortunately a little chewy, although nicely seasoned and generously...

Exceptional experience here this afternoon. We really wanted authentic and traditional Greek cuisine and that is exactly what we got. Friendly and warm service as well as perfectly cooked food. As a family of four people we shared the mixed seafood platter, lamb kleftiko, pork chop, Greek salad and some dips. We were stuffed but every dish was perfect and every plate was clean by the end. This was also the only restaurant in Paleros where we could find taramasalata on the menu! My parents have been coming to Paleros every year for 5 years and said this was one of the best meals they ever had. We would come back to Sirtaki in a...

Perfect Greek Taverna with the water lapping the beach next to our table. Having arrived on the first flight (5:15am) we went for a late lunch at Sirtaki, for a selection of traditional Greek dishes. The food was perfect, chopped Greek salad, Tzatziki, dolmardes, baked feta in filo with honey and calamari oh and fried aubergines - exactly what we wanted. Should have taken more pics but it all went rather quickly! Home cooked goodness and our host George could not have been better. Despite being the end of the season he was warm welcoming and perfect with our 2yr old. Could not of asked for a better setting or meal out of the blocks.
