Dionysos Restaurant Palairos — Restaurant in Municipality of Aktio and Vonitsa

My family and I sat down at one of their unbranded sunbeds. My son at three years of age had an illbeeing due to the heat of the sun, so we had to leave before the staff came over to take our order. One of their employees held down the babycarrier with my three-year-old-son in it and said we had to order something from their menu if we would like to leave.

My wife gave the employe a 5euro-note and said that we would like two cans of cocacola. He said that it was to late to buy now, and the price for the sunbeds had raised to 20euros and that he would call the police if we did not pay. My wife explained that we had only brought a 5euro-note.

The employe then called over a man that seemed to be his boss. "the boss" came over and said degrading stuff about our country, snatched the 5euros from my wifes hand and told us that we never could come back.

We never got two cans of coke as my wife ordered, something I consider as a robery as he snatched the bill out of my wifes hand.

As we left the place to get som shade for 3yearold, the employees of this place shouted "f*king whres" after my wife and my 17-year old daughter.

This was surely something I would like to share with everyone considering a place to eat in the beutiful...

We stayed one week in Paleiros in Mai 2022 and we ate in this wonderful restaurant few times. Each time it was a delightful experience. The food was very fresh, self made, inkl. delicious olive oil made out of own olive trees. The price is according to the quality of the food moderate and thus very fair. Also the location is great: direct on the beach with georgious view to the see and the bay. The owners (a very nice greek/ german couple with a sympathetic son Alex, who is working together with his parents) are very hospitable and communicative. We got each time many insight informations about the region, which was more helpful for our sight-seeing and valuable as any tourist guide book. We thank a lot the whole family for so many unforgettable moments in this wonderful restaurant. Editing my review because next day after that disaster, the another owner apologized to us. Alex, thanks for your kindness and professionalism. Definitely recommend this place if you want to be mistreated by the owner his employee who works there. My friends and I where there for 3 days, sometimes lunch, dinner, drinks and they informed us was ok to use the sun bed if we consume in their restaurant. After lunch, out of the blue the curly hair guy accused us of stealing their sun beds, we tried to explain we were costumers but he didn’t want to listen us and told us to shut up and had the audacity to say “you tourists coming here” yesss, so what? You went, you spent money, we make the business keeping running for what? Being treated like an animal. Never ever again. Food is good but honestly this is Greece, you can find good...
