Panorama Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Aktio and Vonitsa

Wonderdul. We came by mistake, and what a bleaaed mistake that was! We were just looking for a place to have a bite, when we stumbled accross the sign "INDIAN RESTAURANT". I was very excited, my wife... a bit less.. But when the waiter convinced my wife ro rry the Chicken Curry I was stunned!! She NEVER liked ANY curry in any restaurant we went to! When the Samouza and Spring rolls arrived, I understood that we are not going to go home hungry. Very large portion. Then came the Chicken Curry and Chicken Durham (I hope I remember the name, the taste I remember well!) with a large plate with great rice. My wife ate the whole of her dish (and, as mentioned, portions are big!), and I dis to. With all the rice, as well. We had to ask for one of the 5 Samouza and one of the two Spring Rolls to be packed, and I finished them on our way home... Service is great, the food is great, the location is great, the atmosphere is great... Glad we made that "mistake". We'll...

Had several meals here over the space of 2 weeks and would recommend a visit. Although I didn't try any of the more local dishes available, the Indian curries on offer is second to none. Excellent choice of dishes and the attentive staff are always happy to make recommendations for the vegetarian and vegan members of the party. for those who like their food "spicy", I'd recommend you ask for a little extra as they rightly focus on the taste with their ingredients, rather than the "heat".

The house wine (I had dry white) is more than acceptable.

A lovely setting with both indoors and beachfront options. Gorgeous views.

Overall, a really pleasant experience and worth a visit should you want to try something a little different to the local menus.

Panorama offers the best price - food quality combination in Paleros and is the restaurant chosen by the locals. Enjoyed meat and traditionally cooked Greek dishes. Chicken souvlaki is highly recommended. Service is fast. Estimate a cost of about 12 - 13 Euros / person. A drawback is the music (too loud and too folk) coming from the house next to Panorama, so avoid sitting at the left corner. Hard to find a table after 21:30 in August, so plan your arrival earlier. Given the chance, I would definitely eat...
