MINOS Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Amorgos

Me and my girlfriend have arrived to Minos at 21:45. After a good while we were taken the order, although our table was not even ready by that time. We ordered olives, lettuce salad, sardines and small fish. After 20 minutes waiting we had to ask twice to get the olives and eat while waiting the other dishes. At 22:40 we were served the salad after complaining about the waiting- without giving us napkins, salt, olive oil etc. . At 22:55, after having finished half liter wine and not having been given any explanation or advice that food would take a long time to be served, we decided to pay and leave. So far our favorite in Amorgos! Traditional food. We came for lunch. View was great and as it is at the end of the port it was fairly quiet with not many people. The fried Kalamari was wonderful. Fresh, tender, sweet, with a tiny bit of crunchy coating, perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed the beetroot salad, and the Rabbit Stifado (rabbit with tomato, onion, and spices). This is absolutely the best restaurant in Amorgos! I've been in Amorgos for 3 days and I've eaten here 3 times the last 3 days. Extremely clean establishment. The owner is so sweet and kind. The service was good. And the food was DELICIOUS!! My favorite was his Revithia ( chickpeas ) which in my opinion is the best in the entire greece that I've ever tasted.. it was sooo good that we took it to go for our ferry ride leaving the island ..
