The Corner Tavern is a local family tavern with original Greek cuisine. Here I had the most delicious prawns and mussels saganyaki recently, named by the owner Fisherman's Saganyaki. The mussels were huge, the prawns partially peeled, the red tomato sauce (from real fresh tomatoes) was divine. In contrast, with the grilled calamari, things were not quite right. It's all about the food and the service. You feel welcomed from the first minute you step in. We went for dinner twice, both evenings we spent in Katapola. We ordered a lot of food the first time and we didn't manage to finish it all. But everything was delicious. Authentic greek food, fresh local ingredients. Feels homely.
