I’m not even sure what this place is exactly — a coffee shop, a bakery, a brunch spot, or just the place to be. I stayed 5 days in Amorgos, and I went every single day. Whether it was for an orange or chocolate cake to go, pancakes loaded with fruit and homemade jam, eggs with bacon and fresh bread, or a chocolate truffle… Just pick whatever you’re craving, they probably have it. They even make sandwiches and quiches!!

This place is simply amazing. Super friendly vibe. I immediately clicked with the lovely lady working the night shift — she's so warm and welcoming, always making sure you’re having a good time. Same goes for the owner (she’s just the best!) and the cook — truly generous people.

They gave me something rare: the time and space to just enjoy life. That’s the real magic here — if you’re open to it, you’ll feel it too.

And if all that wasn’t enough: they open early (around 8:30am I think?) and they close at midnight! Sounds crazy, but once you’ve been there, you’ll just be grateful it’s open.

Big thanks for the food, the freddo cappuccino, and for creating a space where you can just be. No pressure, no rush — you can sit there for hours, completely at ease. It’s the kind of place that lets you breathe, slow down, and...

Arleta’s is everything you hope to stumble upon while exploring Greece—warm, welcoming, and absolutely delicious. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like family, showcasing that famous Greek hospitality in the most genuine way. They even offered us some amazing local recommendations that made our trip even better.

The coffee? Exceptional—smooth, rich, and expertly brewed. Their breakfast sandwiches were spectacular, honestly some of the best we’ve had anywhere. We also tried the orange cake, and wow—moist, fragrant, and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that everything is made with love and care.

The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, with charming decor and even handmade jewelry for sale. You’ll want to linger for hours, and thanks to their free Wi-Fi and relaxed vibe, you can! We spent an easy afternoon here soaking up the sun, good food, and great conversation.

Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a full meal, Arleta’s is the kind of place that makes you feel right at home....

Went to have some breakfast. Arletas have sandwiches, pancakes and scrambled eggs. I ordered scrambled eggs, espresso and smoothie. The eggs arrived instantly and were a little bit cold and damp.

One at the table ordered pancakes with chocolate. We asked if the chocolate had nuts in it (Nutella has nuts). The waiter insureds us that there were no nuts. When the pancakes arrived we could tell by the taste that it had nuts in it. We asked again if there was nuts in the chocolate and the waiter said no. We asked to se the chocolate and the waiter brought out the chocolate container which had a picture of nuts on it. The waiter apologized and said that she didn’t know and we got a dry sandwich instead.

It’s an ok place but my girlfriend almost got assassinated so I’ll...

Tucked away in a small side street in Katapola, Arleta is a real gem for coffee lovers and breakfast fans. They serve excellent Flat Whites, tasty homemade pies, and fresh cakes — everything beautifully presented and full of flavor. The place has a cozy, creative vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The owner is absolutely charming and funny, always up for a chat and clearly passionate about what she does. You can feel the love in every detail — from the decor to the food. A perfect spot to start your day on Amorgos. (Bonus tip: it’s right next to the laundry!)
