Asteri — Restaurant in Municipality of Apokoronas

Visited after seeing this place had a 4.6 There was no greeting or welcome. When the waitress approached us we both said hello and got no response, no acknowledgement, not even a look at us. The menu was tossed on the table followed by an "UGHH" grunt. Truly shocked by this disregard for customer service and lack of hospitality. The few customers there didn't look happy and the food looked average to below average. Prices weren't particularly great either. We left and walked around the corner to Bonatsa which was the complete opposite of this. Nice atmosphere, great friendly service and delicious food. Also it's not across from the highway. There are better places either side of this restaurant! Disappointing food and a waste of money.

I went here with four friends for dessert and drinks after a meal:

We ordered baklava which was sloppy and excessively sweet, not to mention poorly flavoured too, tasting like it had been sitting around for a few days.

We also ordered chocolate, peanut, and strawberry milkshakes and all of which were as thick as water and had clearly been made by adding powder to water. Very cheeky given that they were €4 each 😐

Would certainly advise...

This is the hard one for stars 🤣🤣 The food was excellent service was veey good. But my gyros didn't come with that Greece bread you get anywhere when you order Gyros plate. Now i don't know if they forget the bread or they just don't serve it with that bread which is not good because half the test of gyros is that pitta bread come with it. So the food was good, definitely. But i go back there, no, because my favourite Greece food is any kind of gyros with the bread...
