The food does taste good and the sizes are crazy! An XL is the size of the table and will feed a whole family so DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE IT. The same goes for a S and M, I would share a S between two but I reckon if you were really hungry you could finish a small by yourself, but a medium is definitely for sharing too. We got the vibe we weren’t liked when we first approached the restaurant asking for a table and since looking at the other reviews it’s clear they have something against the English - I think it’s mostly the male waiter they have working there - he was huffing and tutting and when we asked for descriptions of food he would say ‘I don’t know’ and walk off or he would bring the food over and place it on the table without finding out who it belonged to. We found it funny but I wouldn’t recommend this place - the portions are too big and when we asked for take away boxes they didn’t want to give us pizza boxes, they brought out the wrong orders and so once we’d all finished they still hadn’t brought out the right meal, they took over an hour to produce our meals, and considering the size of the pizzas they didn’t clear any glasses or starter plates off the table the entire night so we kept knocking things, and we asked if they could make a smaller portion of spaghetti bolognese for a two year old and they said they could only do adult portions so this place isn’t kid friendly. The food is good but I would stick to takeaway only, there’s lots more lovely little...
Read moreDon't go to this restaurant! Worst dining experience ever! We ordered two salads in this place with a waiter who speaks very little English, after ordering I asked the waiter if it was possible to change the order by removing a salad and take a pizza instead. The waiter sent me back to the owner a blonde lady to whom I politely asked if I could change a dish. She immediately says no, but then spoke to the kitchen who gives her the OK. I ask her for a menu to choose the pizza but this was in German, so I return and ask her for one in English and she tells me that they were finished and in an arrogant way asks me what pizza do you want?? Mozzarella, tomato? At this point I ignore her and went to my table. As the waiter brings me the salad I ask him again politely for an English menu, he too gets annoyed and leaves without bringing me the menu. Eventually 8 'Greek' people arrived wanting to link two tables but the blonde lady refuses at this simple request and the customers leave very angry. In the end I paid the bill and we left. It felt like a surreal lunch, I have never had such a bad experience at the table especially with such a welcoming people as the Greeks. These people are frustrated and should change jobs and not work especially with people. She is for...
Read morecame back to this restaurant as it was great the first time however it was quite the oops this time around. it took 10 minutes to be acknowledged and have our drinks order taken followed by a 20 minute wait for the 3 drinks to arrive and another 10 for the beer. food took over an hour and they got one of the dishes wrong, when we asked how long it would be to get the correct dish we were told it would be at least another 50 minutes which is ridiculous. as we had already waited over an hour we really had expected them to get the order correct the first time. despite this the dishes that they did get right were delicious but not worth the wait at all. when looking around the restaurant you could see other groups all looking annoyed waiting. this was such a bad experience after loving it the first time and i definitely won’t...
