Simon's in Kalyves, Crete, is an absolute gem tucked away in this seaside village. Upon entering, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for a casual dining experience.

I decided to indulge in a burger craving and opted for Simon's Burger, not entirely sure what to expect. To my delight, I was served a scrumptious steakhouse burger that exceeded all expectations. The patty was not the typical frozen variety but instead a masterpiece of fresh, finely ground beef, expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each bite was a harmony of flavors, with the meat tender and juicy, and the bun toasted to perfection on the grill, evident by the enticing grill marks. The steak fries definitely hit the spot. Tender and crispy - so, so good!!!

The pasta carbonara was another highlight of the meal, featuring tender pasta enveloped in a creamy carbonara sauce, studded with pieces of flavorful pork. Every forkful was a delight, showcasing the chef's skill and dedication to quality ingredients.

What truly sets Simon's apart, however, is not just the outstanding food, but also the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles and attentive service, making me feel right at home. The complimentary dessert was tasty and d was great way to complete our meal.

Excellent Pizza and Burgers in the area, rivals some of the best places in Crete if not in Greece. Surprised are the Brisket and pulled Pork that you would not expect in this area. The BBQ is tasty not too sweet not too salty and the meats are cooked to perfection. Pizza are executed Greek style with an unmistakable taste. Here the cheese and the meats are not too salty and make up for delicious pies. What the place misses in views it makes up is brilliant food and some of the friendliest staff in town. If you are in the area please visit Simons Restaurant, very delecious food, great Ambiente, lots of various selection, great prices. We had tastefull chicken wings, a very good pizza and a greek salad. 5 Stars !!!Nothing to complain at all..Manolis is a very great, polite and friendly guy who makes you feel welcome the first second you enter ths restaurant. We was lucky to be there at a time where it wasnt so busy, had a chance to talk to him about Crete, the people and the beautifull beaches..
