The view is indeed superb. We ordered a few plates, most of which were average. The fillet steak was overdone to the point that the animal it came from was unrecognisable. There was an error with our order, which led to a pizza being delivered to a neighbouring table. Mistakes happen, we don’t mind. What followed prompted this review and I hope the owner reads this. Incidentally, if she/he was there, we couldn’t tell who ran this place. Leaderless and without any sense of direction, it appear to be managed by a rude girl in her early 20s.
With the exception of one waitress who was mildly apologetic and brought 2 limoncello drinks at the end, the other 2 were simply unacceptable. No free drinks, thank you, we came to eat. We don’t want freebies. Be human, treat customers as equals not as your parents treated you. That requires therapy.
If I owned this restaurant I would sit the staff down for some basics of customer service, today. If a plate comes back to the kitchen, either the chef or the owner goes to the table to ask politely what happened and offers what the customer wants. Don’t give customers attitude especially when such attitude comes from a place of ignorance, false pride and machismo. Get some self-awareness and act like you like tourists on this beautiful island - Corfu deserves better service.
I won’t be coming back to this place and it left a bitter taste...
Read moreI can overall give just 3 stars. The food was good and the view was also good.
Why then just 3 stars? Because when you get the bill, they hide a positions called "covers" with their business card in the first row which feels like I get scammed. so you get charged 2 euros to pay for the cutlery and the bread (which we didn't eat). The food is not cheap, but it is still OK for the view and quality and the cost is written in the menu. But why do you try to charge extra fees for nothing and try to hide it? In all of our restaurant visits in corfu we never had to pay for cutlery, most of the time we rather got free bread or fruits as well.
I think without hidden fees you wouldn't make less money because the satisfaction of your customers would be way better and they would rather willing to come again or give extra tip for service.
Without this issue I also would have gotten a 5...
Read morePhantastic and gorgeous view. The Restaurant would have benefits renaming to a name like "Greek Tavern Mountain view" or something like that. We found the restaurant by accident and decided to give it a try. We were lucky and get a table with great panoramic valley view. We ordered fish and mixed grilled plate. My meat plate was huge and costs 15 euro. General meat quality was good. I would have wished a little less fries and instead some nice Greek green salad or some tomato rice. The service made a stressed impression on us and we were not asked during our stay whether we are happy or if we want anything else. We were as well not happy to see the two beautiful parrots being caged in far to small cages at the entrance. In our opinion this fits not in our...
