Tavern at Mathraki Resort — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We stayed in the "resort" for more then 10 days. In the first evening we went out to eat and the small one slept trough the dinner...so when we got back at the hotel I ordered for him a kids menu of chicken gyros. We where served by one of the sons, visible bothered by the fact that we only ordered some wine and the small menu for the kid. It was served pretty fast...plate trown on the table. I am so sorry that I was out of battery on my phone then...should have made a photo of the plate They charged 6,5 euros for the kids gyros....on the plate there was about 100 grams in all, potatoes and meat. It looked like it was the remains of somebody else....cold...no salad, no pita, nothing...just a hand of fries and some dried out chicken meat that neither my son or me could eat. We gave it to the dogs. To top it off, he brought fork and knife, nicely covered by a napkin....but dirty. The fork had food remains on it. When I gave it back and asked for clean ones....no apologies,nothing. If you go in any gyros joint in Gauvia or anywhere else on the Island, for 5 euros you get a full pita gyros with everything.
