The great location and the dancing have pushed this up to a four. Great little spot that makes it cosy and unique. The staff are very friendly and want you to enjoy your time there. Come evening, this spot looks pretty with the lights, and they do Greek dancing with the customers. This a very traditional family Taverna and we enjoyed our visit. The food was good although slightly pricey compared to similar restaurants. The service lacked a little, but I think that was down to them being busy and the dancing interrupting the service. But the dancing was entertaining and we did enjoy it. We didn't order starters, but I saw this happen to at least three tables whilst we were there. Not long after getting their starters; their mains arrived. It was if the cooks were concentrating on a table at a time to get their orders out. Another downside is our wait for the bill was incredibly long. I had to ask twice for it. From the moment we arrived, this family-run gem made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, with a real sense of warmth that only a true family business can provide. The staff treated us like old friends — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
The food? Incredible. The standout for us was the lamb kleftiko — fall-off-the-bone tender, rich with flavor, and beautifully seasoned. Every bite was pure comfort. You can tell a lot of love goes into the cooking here.
And let’s not forget the wine — they plyed us with it in the best way! Generous pours, great selection, and always with a smile.
This place is a true hidden treasure. Come for the food, stay for the hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back — and bringing...

The food was underwhelming – bland, poorly prepared, and definitely not worth the price. But what really ruined the evening was the staff’s attitude. From the moment we asked for the bill, we were met with open hostility from more than one employee. Their behavior was not just cold, but borderline aggressive.
We don’t expect five-star service in a casual setting, but basic courtesy should be a given. Sadly, this was a thoroughly unpleasant experience, and it left a sour taste in more ways than one. Even among the so-called “tourist traps,” this one ranks at the bottom....
