BBQ-ART — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We ate at this restaurant 3 times plus once take-away. And the experience just got worse and worse. First time we ate dinner it actually was a nice experience, kids got the best home made chicken nuggets, so they wanted to eat there again therefore we bought chicken nuggets as takeaway the next day for our bus tour, now the takeaway chicken nuggets were some frozen ready made, you can just buy at any shop, very McD/BK quality, just worse tasting. Then after 2 weeks we had our next accommodation right next door and we couldn't check in yet, so we thought to try it again and ask if the nuggets were homemade as well as stay until we can check in - now nuggets were homemade so we ordered for the kids, we wanted to sit close to the aircon, the waitress had a problem with that, made faces, slapped stuff on the table, but couldn't explain whats her problem and eventually said okey to sit close to the aircon. Then we were eating - the food was great, there were not many people coming in yet, but we didn't even finish eating when she said we have to leave right away because the restaurant is filling and she needs more space - we gave up and left. Out of need, because of tight schedule and early leaving, we had to sit in for breakfast one last time and omg the waitress was there again with the biggest passive aggressive attitude. I'd like to go back for the food, but if I ever have a choice again, I won't return solely because of the waitress...

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I sat at a table waiting for the rest of my group to arrive, tried to order a drink 3 times. The waiters kept making eye contact and telling me they will be right there but no one came over. After about 10 minutes, just as the rest of my friends were arriving, an older woman came over and rudely asked when is the rest of group arriving because there are people waiting for this table. I said they are coming now and I would like to order water, she started complaining and I felt so uncomfortable I told her Its okay I will just leave the table to whoever is waiting. As I got up to leave the woman rudely said “See you next year”. I am not one to write bad reviews but this woman was so rude I really don’t want anyone else to have to experience this. P.S. A few minutes later my friends and I walked by this place and there was NO ONE sitting at that table. It seemed all that attitude was for no reason and the woman just wanted to be nasty.

There are much better places with amazing people and wonderfully warm customer service around Gouvia. Do not waste your time and money on this...

The food here was really very good, we have been here twice and the quality and taste of everything we ordered was very satisfying. Especially the pork souvlaki is some of the best we have ever had! However, the service was not so good, we were left waiting for our order for a very long time and we could tell that almost every other customer in the shop was also as disappointed as us… there must be an organizational issue as mistakes were being made as well, wrong orders, missing items, and even wrong final bills (it happened to us both times, they tried to overcharge us!)… we even saw an Italian group sending their orders back because they were completely wrong, and another group (Greeks) complaining that they were being overcharged… this must not be by chance, and it is really a shame because it ruins the overall outlook of the shop Anyway, i would still recommend them for their food, just be aware of the (slight) chaos you might...
