Small, greek taverna. If you're looking to taste something originally greek, to taste really local food - this is where you should go. The owner comes to you and recommends certain dishes or starters. We wanted to order tzatziki, but was recommended to take Taramosalata, which is handmade at the place. This was the best choice ever! Menu is short, which ensures the dishes are fresh and prepared daily. Not everything what is on the list is available, but the owner tells you what they have at the moment. Home wine is really "home" - self made by the owner. He comes to you very often to check if everything is alright. We were even honored with a free desert - greek yoghurt with honey which was a cherry on top. We managed to talk with the owner a bit, learn about greek traditions and origin of the ornaments at the taverna. The place feels like old-school greek home. For PL visitors: if I would imagine Greek home from PRL times - this is how it would look like. The atmosphere was so good. It felt like you are at dinner at some greek relatives that we almost forgot we...
Read moreHidden restaurant very close to the port, which really worked out for us (as we were taking the ferry back). Initially we were a bit uncertain about the place, but the owner started to explain the menu to us (as they don’t really have one) and we gave it a shot. We had fried cod with fries, which was very fresh and flavourful, Greek salad, a good portion of fresh vegetables full of flavour (the olives were something amazing, I never had olives that good) and ratatouille, also very nice and homemade. We really recommend trying this family restaurant, as it captures the flavours and spirit of Greece. Would definitely go back and explore the...
Read moreThe place looks local and simple, and the owners are friendly. The food was also delicious. However, we didn’t like the fact that we didn’t receive a menu, maybe their are old fashioned and we understood that, but we also didn’t receive a bill at the end, to check whether we are paying only for what we ate, because there were 2 dishes missing from our order. Unfortunately, we will not get back, we paid a bit much for what we consumed there. The portions were small and compared to other Greek places around here, it was expensive even though we didn’t expect it, since it seemed owned by...
