Tatsis The Art of Grill — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Just as we were about to board the ferry from the port we decided to grab a bite. We found Tatsis because the good reviews. I really pay very close attention to hygiene and cleanliness. I asked the gentleman who was very nice if they had fresh gyro. He assured me he did and it would be amazing. I asked where was the spit that it turns on amd he said it is packaged but it will be great and they will grill it. I said ok so we ordered 5 gyros, salad and a few other things. I waited patiently and watched them prepare the food. The cutting board was used over and over with several differnet foods. All the lady did was wipe it with a wet rag over and over . In my opinion rags grow bacteria over several hours. I watched and watched and realized there was no grilling going on for the pork. I noticed that the 2 microwaves were going for 5 min or so. I was like please don't be the gyro. Sure enough it was! They microwaved the freaking meat! That is disgusting 🫣 if I wanted microwaved food I would go to some busted place. Anyway some of you don't care which is fine but I know a lot of you will appreciate this. So hell to the no I will never go back here again. I am very transparent and write both good and bad reviews. I was hoping this one would be good since the gentleman was nice. Anyway I never paid once I saw the things I saw including the microwaved meat I walked away pissed off. Hopefully he reads this and responds and starts grilling and stops...
