Minóre — Restaurant in Municipality of Chalandri

Really rude waiters. I walked into the restaurant, approaching a waiter asking him: For one person please. Hey said: No, no english and then ignored me. I stand there for 5min straight in the hope of any communication effort. It was totally embarassing to stand there in front of all the people waiting for 5min. I finally used Google translate to tell him: One table for one person. He then said emotionless ok pointing to a table. The white blanket was dirty with brown stuff on it. Still none of the waiters came to my table and I kept waiting longer. I then left the restaurant. I definitively had enough. And i've never done something like this before. Can't tell about the food. I don't expect the waiters to be fake friendly or long smalltalk or whatever. I only wanted to eat something after a long exhausting day. Treating a guest like this is just shameful....

We ate here on our way to Athens from the airport. I think they opened early just for us. The food was phenomenal. Best orange cake I’ve ever had. We stayed in Greece for a week and the food was great everywhere, but we never found anything better than that first...

Ταβέρνα που, αν πας, σίγουρα θα ξαναπάς πολλές φορές και σίγουρα θα συστήσεις σε φίλους και γνωστούς. Περιβάλλον ζεστό, ατμόσφαιρα φιλική, σέρβις γρήγορο, μερίδες τεράστιες, ποιότητα σε συνδυασμό με ποσότητα και χαμηλή τιμή. Τι άλλο να ζητήσεις; Ξεκινήσαμε να πηγαίνουμε πριν δέκα περίπου χρόνια - όλα σήμερα είναι σχεδόν τα ίδια με τότε, Φαγητό, περιβάλλον, εξυπηρέτηση, τιμές. Και βέβαια, μη ξεχνάμε τον ένα και μοναδικό Σωτήρη, ιδιοκτήτη, μάγειρα, σερβιτόρο και ψυχοθεραπευτή μαζί. Εύχομαι να την επισκεφθείτε (εγώ με την παρέα μου το κάνω συχνά, ποτέ δεν έμεινα απογοητευμένος από κάτι). Μόνο που εδώ και λίγο καιρό η μόνιμη παρέα μας έχασε ένα ανεκτίμητο μέλος, αυτή τη φίλη που μας πρωτοέφερε στο Μινόρε και που, χωρίς αυτήν, είμαστε πια...
