Tried this local restaurant due to good reviews on the net. We were disappointed. We ordered the pork ribs and 1/2 metre pork steak. We had to return the steak to be cooked a bit more because we could see blood running out of the pork meat when it was served on our table. The rib and steak were a bit tough. The two street cats enjoyed the meat more than us, although they seemed to have some difficulty to chew the meat also. Sliced bread was served without us ordering. We only ate half a slice and left the other 4 slices in the serving basket. We were charged two euros for that. When cleaning our table, the man took the 4 slices of bread back to his grill for the next customers. Hmmmmm…. alarm bells for me…… food hygiene issues…… They also charge €15 for the 1/2 metre pork steak instead of €12 stated in the menu. When questioned, he told us the steak was a bit larger than usual. Hmmmm…… sneaky……. Overall, bad experience with all the alarm bells were on. We will not go back there again. It is their loss. The Greek salad was nice. You just cannot...
Read moreThe most delicious food I've ever eaten! I ordered chicken fillet with fries, which sounds simple but was so much more. The chicken was so perfectly seasoned, I tore into it with my hands. I dipped it in the tzatziki, the best tzatziki I've ever had. My boyfriend ordered a gyros plate, it was piled high with meat and fries. We were given free bread for during the meal and free raki after :) My boyfriend couldn't finish his food so he asked for it to be packed up, the owner did so and added extra meat. He gave us the box, but then called us back as we were leaving and proceeded to fill the box with even more meat. I think we stood there for about a minute straight as he cut off pieces of the delicious meat. We ended up with at least a day's worth of the meat! He gave us some really lovely advice that I'll remember for a long time "If you give, God gives". He seems like a very lovely hardworking man, I'm sure you'll have an excellent...
Read moreI was staying at the hotel next door and was hungry around 3am and decided to get a gyro and a beer to finish the night. The staff were the most kind and welcoming people and the food was amazing. I came looking for a small gyro but I received a mountain of delicious meat, fries, sauce and fresh grilled bread, and since I was the last customer of the night I got a big portion for no extra fee. I’ve never felt more at home than sitting here drinking a Cretan beer and eating a gyro mountain at 3am while the owner watered his plants and talked to me. I recommend anyone to stop here for the amazing people that work here and make it a...
