Municipal Art Gallery — Attraction in Municipality of Chania

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Municipal Art Gallery and it exceeded all of my expectations. The space itself is beautifully curated with an array of diverse artworks that truly showcase the talent and creativity of various artists.

What a delightful and unexpected pleasure to find such an eclectic, original and thought provoking collection of contemporary Greek and Cretan paintings. The current exhibition is wonderful, and well worth the small entrance fee. Housed on 3 floors, the collection showcases a variety of artistic styles, with many being truly first class. Beautiful art works and worth a stop off into! I entered late so I was let in for free but I believe it’s only €4 entry and it’s worth every penny. The gentleman (I assume is the owner) was very friendly and approachable. Even the security too! If you are in to art or ships (or both) I definitely recommend!
