Lambros — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

Would not recommend. Firstly, staff is not welcoming and kind of forgets about the guests at their restaurant so you're waiting a long time with empty bottles etc. Also, the toilets were dirty. Besides that, the portion was 50% smaller than they showed on the pictures in the menu. I ordered the grilled octopus, I only got one average sized octopus leg instead of the advertised two legs on the menu picture. When we asked for the bill, the bill was a bit lower than we expected, but since it was written in Greek alphabet we could not decipher it. We thought it was maybe a bit lowered to make up for the below average service and smaller portions. So we paid and tipped generously and left the restaurant. A couple of hours later we walked by at the street next to the restaurant and we were taken from the street by the staff and forced to pay the remainder of the bill, because the staff had made a mistake on our bill and apparently they didn't fully charge us for the dinner yet. There was no compensation of any kind, the fact that it was their mistake to start with and that we were still willing to pay was simple ignored and put away with a fake "sorry", that was all they had to offer. this is one of my nicest restaurant in Stalis. last year I also went to Stalis with my boyfriend but never tried this restaurant. this year I went to Stalis again. (thanks to the beach man at Pasion Lounge bar, Leo) I went to Lambros for the first time and had dinner there. we were received by the fantastic host Nikos. you have a nice atmosphere hanging there, nice view and the food is DELICIOUS. The woman working there usually didn't look very happy and was a "little" grumpy. took a long time for the drinks to come as there is only 1 employee on the floor and the host Nikos also had to help to keep everything in order. I didn't see the woman herself much in the workplace. Afterwards, the fantastic host was very nice and participated in the shot of Raki himself. I had given him another beer as a gift and he still remembered the next day that we had given the beer. Every time we came to eat there or passed by (also on our last afternoon) we got another shot of Raki from him. "shot for the road?" he said. The worst waitress ever! My husband thought she was a walking corps. She came from 'The living death'. The food was reasonably. We had to wait over an hour. One of the waiters offerd free drinks. We said it was okay. We made a joke that it was 'Murphy's law'. It can happen. We weren't the only ones who had to wait to long. An other table had to wait long to, and both got the wrong dishes. After an hour and a half the food finally came. My husband ordered gyros with potatoes, he got chips instead. I ordered chicken with rice. They served a little spoonful rice, which was cold and also chips. They brought a new plate warmed rice. Also the cats begging at our table wasn't pleasant. When I payed with my card, 'The Corps' looked while I entered my pin code. I asked her for some privacy. 'The Corps' started to shout in Greek. It was horrific.
