First time in Greece/Crete with kids and first time we tried local Greek food. The reviews on Google are absolutely correct - it is a small and really nice place. All that we have ordered was very fresh and made from the scratch. My daughter had tomato soup and I tried a bit - it was not from the can for sure! We ordered a plate to share to try traditional different food. The beef stew was delicious. All veg in salads were crispy and fresh. The pita was freshly baked too. I didn’t like much gyros and the local house wine, but maybe because I don’t like meat with any amount of animal fat...regarding the wine, I just got used to a very particular taste... The location of the restaurant is very good - just by the beach. If you come to the beach, you can easily have a nice lunch at Mesoyiako - they have waterproof pillows and they are ok to welcome half-wet customers 😆 We will definitely come back to enjoy food at Mesoyiako before we fly back to the UK.

Perfect experience! We’ve been there twice already; currently on holiday in Stalis, and we’ve only been served with great service and food! The view is perfect, and the atmosphere even better. Since we’ve been there first time, we’ve dreamed of coming back! Greek Pizza: Very tasty! Olives🫒, cheese🧀 and rest of topping were perfectly executed on the pizza, which combined created a great overall pizza! Shrimp pasta: Very creamy and fresh sauce🥫; you could taste the freshness in the shrimps🍤, and it didn’t disappoint! Definitely want to try it again!

Had a lovely dinner in a quiet space with beach view. Terrace here is smaller and feels more homely than some of the big hotel / bar places on this street. Service is super sweet, there was a misunderstanding with our order. Not sure whether we ordered the wrong dish or if the order was taken wrong but we wanted veggie and got meat, so the order was all remade for us, very lovely service. It might have been our own mistake so not taking this for granted at all. Everything was super tasty, good value for money!

Perfect experience! We’ve been there twice already; currently on holiday in Stalis, and we’ve only been served with great service and food! The view is perfect, and the atmosphere even better. Had a lovely dinner in a quiet space with beach view. Terrace here is smaller and feels more homely than some of the big hotel / bar places on this street. Service is super sweet, there was a misunderstanding with our order. Not sure whether we ordered the wrong dish or if the order was taken wrong but we wanted veggie and got meat, so the order was all remade for us, very lovely service. Have been living in Neapoli since 2017 and mostly eat at local places near to home....Our friend had passed by here a while ago and saw the BBQ ribs and had been pestering us to go with him to try them out! We went last night (26 June) and we were not disappointed, ribs were fantastic and a very large portion, very tender and tasty. Christine had the Sea Bass which was cooked to perfection. The place is divided by the road and we chose to sit by the sea, very comfortable seating, linen tablecloth and tables well spaced giving plenty of room. The staff were very friendly and service was 1st class, obviously locally owned as the owner knew a friend of ours that has a taverna in Neapoli...very reasonable prices and quality food...will be going back at...

Our last night here in Stalis and I wish we had found this restaurant sooner. The food was delicious and they even had a vegetarian menu. We had a halloumi starter with a portion of fresh tzatziki and fresh, warm pitta. My partner had the seabass, my daughter had pizza and I had the spaghetti with mushrooms and garlic. All fresh and so tasty.

You can choose to sit in the restaurant by the kitchen or just a couple of seconds away on the beach side.

The owners are so lovely to talk to. My daughter even tried a shot glass of raki. I would absolutely recommend. Thank you and hope to...
