Well maybe the restaurant had a bad day, but this definitely wasn't the same restaurant everyone has been giving positive reviews on. The only smile we saw was the young lady at the restaurant entrance. Unfortunately that's where it ends. Took 10 minutes to get served, not even a drink. Then when someone came to take our order he was as miserable as sin. Sorry if you wanted to go home! We got our starters at different times! cheese salad, this was just feta with olive oil poured on. Then the second starter came out. Mushrooms with cheese on, Mixed grill came next. Ohh dear ohh dear. Mixed up something. Awful. Bits of fatty meat, a round ball of something, some chicken cubes skewered, some sausage and chips. And still drink glasses are empty, certainly no great atmosphere going on here, just Mr grumps. After eating the mixed grill ( still no drinks as we got to) pudding menu, we asked Mr. Grumpy about the dessert menu, No desserts here we just have chocolate souffle only. With that walked away, then asked for the bill, good grief took a while! The only recommendation I would say is to...
Read moreWe came here once and returned another 4 times before we went home! If you are in a hotel nearby this place is great for grabbing a pizza and chips to eat back at the hotel and it is beautiful! Especially the cheesy garlic bread. The staff are very kind, especially the young lady who serves in here. She works so hard and always with a smile on her face. The bill everytime we came here surprised us! One night we had 4 meals, 2 canters of wine and a starter, and it came to 50 euros! It is so cheap and so worth the money. The local wine is gorgeous and it's 9 euros for a liter! And it will blow your socks off haha but tastes lovely. When you pay the bill they bring you over a free desert and bottles of raki. If you give the staff even the slightest inkling that you are wanting to be drunk and liked the raki they will just keep serving you raki for free haha! We left very very drunk every time we came here. A lovely part of our holiday coming here,...
Read moreCame across this great little restaurant in Analipsi town by chance and it didn't disappoint. The menu is varied (a mix of traditional Greek and more generic dishes so there is something to suit everyone) and reasonably priced. The chefs take the greatest care preparing and presenting their food which was all delicious and the portion sizes absolutely huge, especially the freshly made warm apple cake with ice cream - DIVINE! The staff are incredibly friendly and careful to ensure you enjoy your experience and meal. Even though it was quiet, we enjoyed it so much the first time, that we returned a second night to try even more of the menu. A great gem, well worth the 5 min walk from...
