Taverna Analipsi — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I simply had to. I've eaten at many tavernas, but this one was simply the best so far. The two young waiters give you a warm welcome and competent service. The Greek hospitality makes you feel right at home. From the moment you're greeted with a greeting from the kitchen, it's clear that this isn't an old, dusty tavern, but a tradition-conscious tavern that has been adapted for a modern era. (Three different, great samples were served here, which will leave you wanting more.) The other dishes also clearly reflect traditional cuisine with a modern twist. Unfortunately, I discovered this tavern too late, so I only went there three times during my vacation. What I don't understand is why this place isn't always full. Perhaps word about the quality needs to spread. This is definitely still an insider tip at the moment.

One more thing: Please forget the reviews that are more than six months old. The current owners have only been around...
