We started with a selection of meze, including the creamy hummus, perfectly grilled calamari, and a vibrant Greek salad brimming with sun-ripened tomatoes and crisp cucumbers. The standout dish was the moussaka—layers of tender eggplant, spiced ground meat, and creamy béchamel sauce, baked to golden perfection. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s skill and dedication to preserving Cretan flavors.

Read moreI sat in the garden at the back which was a beautiful setting for some beautifully cooked Greek food. I started with Grilled Prawns which were deliciously sweet and served with a pot of melted lemon butter to dip them in. I followed this with Mousaka that came bubbling away in an earthenware bowl. Once it had cooled enough to eat the flavours were fantastic. The creamy, cheesy bechamel sauce gave way to a rich lamb ragout punctuated with slices of tender aubergines and potatos. (I went back the next night and had that magnificent...

I received a complimentary ice cream which I think I was sort of craving and a good amount of raki which was delicious. I even told them I'll finish it all as I absolutely love the drink Not expensive but on a single budget, it can be a lot cost wise to eat everyday so make sure to ask for smaller portions. Food can be improved but that is not on them, it's my own comparison to some nostalgic...
