Expected great food based on the high Google rating, but was VERY disappointed. I don't often feel like leaving reviews, especially bad ones. We visited there approx. a week ago.
Tldr; very negative experience. Ordered beef steak, got served a pork chop where half of it was fridge cold raw - cook ruined raw half of the steak "fixing" the error (just burning it) and the waiter billed the steak as beef.
We arrived around 21 to eat as the only 1 group besides us was wrapping up.
I ordered a beef steak (medium) and wife was having calamari. For starter we ordered the fried eggplant.
Eggplant was great. Done well, not too fried. Lacked salt, but we added it ourselves.
Then the "beef" stake came. It turned out to be a pork chop. I still decided to give it a try, as the old server maybe just misheard me and I was interested in seeing how they do pork.
The pork was 50% raw. Fridge cold raw. Not even close to medium or even medium-. I raised the issue to the young cook who was sitting and smoking cigarettes and asked him to come to take a look - he ignored me, refused to come and look and just continued repeating that it is medium. After that the older waiter came and took the raw piece back to kitchen to be corrected.
The young cook brought back the piece, with a big smile, charred to shit, dry as a shoe bottom. Didn't say anything, didn't apologize and didn't seem to care about how he cooks meat. He definitely knew that he ruined the rest of stake.
I hate leaving food uneaten, but I had completely lost my appetite at that point.
After paying I noticed they even charged the meat as beef, even when they served pork.
Very sad last meal together with my wife in Greece, worst experience I've had in a restaurant. Very sad that meat doesn't get respected in any way when cooking, will end up just getting thrown into the bin.
Cooking a pork stake/chop isn't rocket science. Just sad then wasting meat for subpar cooking.
The old waiter was nice and welcoming. But I come to a restaurant to eat good, atleast decent food - a nice server does not save so underrated and underskilled treatment of meat.
Cannot recommend - it seems that if you get a bad roll be prepared for a very bad and random quality...
Read moreWe went for an evening meal as a family of seven and had a very nice experience. When looking at the menu, due to the pictures and extremely reasonable prices, we assumed that most of the dishes were probably snack sized and ordered a main and a side(starter) each. When the food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised at the portions. As an example, the beef stifado is shown as just the stew, but when it was served, it came with fries. Needless to say, we had ordered a little too much, but the food was so tasty that every morsel was polished off (too many dishes eaten to review them all).
The gentleman serving us was extremely friendly and relaxed. The general vibe was of a local eatery that welcomed tourists happily. Food was served quickly and was cooked to perfection.
Cost wise, the entire meal, with drinks, came in at €105! As a father, with six children on holiday, this was an incredibly good value, quality way to have a sit down meal and experience top notch Greek cuisine.

Wenn man null Sterne geben könnte, wäre selbst das noch zu viel.
Der Kellner konnte kein Wort Englisch – in einem touristischen Gebiet! Nach über einer Stunde Warten (und mehreren Erinnerungen) kam NICHTS. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Service, gar nichts. Als wir nach einer Stunde nochmal nachfragten, hieß es: "15 Minuten." Und was kam nach 15 Minuten? Ein widerlicher Orangensaft – mehr nicht.
Der sogenannte "frisch gepresste" Saft war lauwarm, schmeckte verdorben, und darin schwammen schwarze Partikel, die aussahen wie Schimmel oder Dreck. Absolut ekelhaft.
Währenddessen saßen wir in einem glühend heißen Raum ohne Klimaanlage, kaum Luft, keine Ventilation – ein stickiger, unangenehmer Alptraum.
Am Ende mussten wir ohne Essen gehen, um unseren Flug zu erwischen – hungrig, wütend und fassungslos.
Dieser Ort ist eine Beleidigung für jeden zahlenden Gast. Unorganisiert, inkompetent und völlig desinteressiert. Finger weg!

vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung, auch wenn sie mehr einer Rechtfertigung als einem echten Interesse an Kritik gleicht.
Ich habe niemals verlangt, dass das Essen in fünf Minuten serviert wird, das ist schlichtweg falsch. Ich habe nach einer Stunde Wartezeit und mehreren Nachfragen lediglich erwartet, dass überhaupt etwas kommt. Wenn Sie behaupten, Ihr Personal habe „sein Bestes gegeben“, dann tut mir das leid, denn das „Beste“ war in meinem Fall gar kein Service.
Der Hinweis auf hohe Auslastung ist kein Freifahrtschein für mangelnde Organisation und Kommunikation. Wenn Gäste komplett ignoriert werden, liegt das nicht an zu viel Betrieb, sondern an strukturellem Versagen.
Was den Orangensaft betrifft: Wenn mir nach 45 Minuten ein Glas mit schwarzen Partikeln serviert wird, das verdorben schmeckt, dann nenne ich das nicht „übertrieben negativ“, sondern faktisch zutreffend – und ehrlich gesagt: ekelhaft.
Anstatt meine Erfahrung pauschal als „nicht der Realität entsprechend“ abzutun, hätten Sie besser daran getan, sich ehrlich zu entschuldigen und intern Konsequenzen zu ziehen.
In diesem Sinne: Ich wünsche Ihnen ebenfalls alles Gute – und vor allem ein besseres Verständnis für Gastronomie und Gästezufriedenheit.
