It is instantly clear why this restaurant is so very amazing… it is a labor of love between a husband and a wife who pour their passion, heart, and soul into creating a perfect dining experience. Our hotel highly recommended we go visit Giannis for dinner, and our meal was so lovely that we returned the next day for lunch, which was equally great. Giannis is a warm,charming, and intelligent host who not only offers excellent service, but prepares the diner for success with perhaps the best bit of storytelling I have ever seen on a menu. I have been enjoying wine all over the world for my entire life, and I literally read every word of the beautiful descriptions of each wine, and in the process, received a thorough education of Greek wines. And it led me to a white wine unlike anything I have ever tasted, complex with tannins and a hue of orange color. Giannis has thought of every little detail. Each Greek craft beer (also wonderfully described) is paired with the perfectly shaped and branded glass from that particular brewery. Each chair, both inches from the sea where we dined with a world class view, and those on the patio, had a perfectly folded, clean, and comfy blanket for the nighttime chill. Giannis is a master of his craft. And his wife Nina’s passion for cooking is equally perfectionistic: grilled local sea bream and octopus, pasta dishes that would humble many Italian chefs, fresh and abundant salads topped with their own olive oil and nuanced dressings and sauces, and even a sophisticated but still elegant artistic plating of each dish. Each dish was perfectly executed. My mother and father together operated a very successful restaurant for 60 years, so I know firsthand the power of a couple who is passionate about food, drink, and providing their customers with an unparalleled experience. Excellent small restaurant that is the perfect choice for everyone who values great food. Unlike every other place in the neighborhood, the menu offers a very creative, modernized Greek cuisine with Italian influences. Local products cooked to perfection and presented beautifully in ways you don't find elsewhere. If you are looking for an ordinary Greek tavern with the usual Souvlaki, Gyros and Bifteki, this is not the right place.
