Dionyssos — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

Vor Jahren konnte man hier noch ganz gut essen wenn man Lust auf Fleisch hatte, dieses Jahr war eine herbe Enttäuschung! Der Griechische Salat war absolut lieblos und es dauerte über eine halbe Std bis er mit dem Tzaziki zusammen kam (obwohl der Laden nicht mal voll war!), der Hauptgang, Chicken Souvlaki & mixed Grill, dauerte noch mal fast 40 Min!! Mein Souvlaki war lauwarm, das Fleisch so lala und ebenfalls sehr lieblos mit ein paar dazu geworfenen, wenigen Pommes angerichtet, der mixed grill Teller war gut. Das geröstete Brot war wohl das beste am ganzen Abend. Seit Eintreffen in der Taverne hatte man fortwährend das Gefühl, man belästige die ältere Dame die dort durch den Raum schwebte und bediente, wenn man etwas von ihr wollte. Die Atmosphäre war irgendwie steril, das grelle Kaltlicht, das laute Geräusch der Belüftung (die Musik war aus) und die übrigen Gäste machten seltsamer Weise auch nicht gerade den Eindruck einen vergnügten Abend zu haben, es war ganz seltsam. Insgesamt dauerte es vom bestellen bis zum bezahlen der Rechnung ganze 2 Std. und das für ein sehr mittelmäßiges Essen. Für uns war es das letzte mal dass...

The veal stew was amazing. The tomato onion sauce was simple, yet so deliciously prepared. The meat was very soft as well.

The service was great too. You're being served with a smile and thoughtfulness. I also got a very delicious pastry on the house at the end with cinnamon. It's like they knew that I have a weakness for cinnamon pastries.

Staff are very friendly and the venue is romantic and quute nice. The food however is amazing. The fries served with the chicken schnitzel are splendid (and that's a big compliment from two Belgians) and the house specialty that is the Dionysos Lamb is the best thing I ate in a long time.
